Execerise for the legs

One of the biggest concerns dealing with legs strength is quads and hamstrings. Exercises that help build up muscles would be leg press, leg extensions, lounges, machines that work hip abductors and hip adductors. Using the machine for leg extensions, hip adductors and abductors are easy to do using machines. As for leg press exercise and lounges are alittle harder due to the learning the proper ways to preforming the action without breaking certian rules in the activity.

When preforming a leg press ways to prevent injury

  • one should not straighten your legs due to the weight being able to snap your knee caps when straigthen with a great amount of weight on it. So there should never be completely straight.
  • Another piece of the action is going to 90 degree angle on the way down for full ROM(Range of motion).

How to preform a walking lounges

  1. Using dumb bells that have enough weight that you can do for atleast 6-10 reps with, taking a big step forward having your back knee deep a inch or two over the floor
  2. take you back foot up and take another big step forward to complete 1 rep
